Amoxicillin+ Clavulanic Acid

Clavulanic acid when combined with Amoxicillin extends the antibacterial spectrum of Amoxicillin to include organisms resistant to Amoxicillin and other beta-lactam antibiotics, thus a combination of these two has a great importance in the treatment of wide range of infections.⁵

Extremely effective drug for the treatment of respiratory tract infections generally and otitis media specifically.
Broad spectrum of activity which includes S. pneumoniae and beta-lactamase producing H. influenzae and M. catarrhalis.
